Hi, I'm Lê Minh Ngọc (Ngọc)*!
I am a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Ph.D. fellow as part of the EDUCADO Doctoral Network , at Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias.
I hunt the extremely low surface brightness, ``almost-dark'' galaxies (those with \(\mu_0 \geq 27\,\mathrm{mag\,arcsec^{-2}}\)) beyond the Local Group, using imaging from ultra-deep surveys such as LIGHTS and Vera Rubin LSST. The abundance and properties of these faint-end galaxies provide direct tests that discriminate between competing dark matter models.
